A Casadora (The Huntress)
My third Jaguar to my collection. I wanted the foliage to be minimal but somehow it seemed to grow as the painting progressed and then came the beautiful Parides Bunichus Brazilian butterflies in the perfect shade of green with flecks of fuchsia. 
 
I love painting these majestic creatures and playing with foliage and light shining through the tropical leaves and blades of grass. Inspired by my nights camping in the Pantanal.
