Cadmium reds and Prussian Blue… my absolute go-to-colours which you will find in many of my paintings.
The Brazilian gold blossom tree hangs gracefully over the jaguar and creates a contemporary minimalist-style painting.
The hues of red are created by layers of water-mixable oil, allowing for drying with days between and painted in a beautiful ombré effect as the perfect Pantanal backdrop. The spray-painted branch gives the artwork a wonderful injection of metallic gold, gracefully blooming with oil-painted blossom.
The jaguar sits cool and calm, painted with hues of blue, gazing into the distance.
The Blue Jaguar was inspired by my nights camping in the Pantanal and is part of my Brazil Collection.
